RNE Pumps has taken the time to understand the many arduous mining conditions. With this knowledge they have developed an extremely hard working and durable product - A product that needs very little attention and maintenance.

RNE’s pumps are designed with a maximum water level which enables the pump to keep all the bearings (sealed units) out of water. This allows for the pump to run wet or dry 24 hours a day without further lubrication. The open impeller allows for slurries and solids of up to 20mm and the positively supported shaft handles specific gravities (SG’s) up to 1.5.

Additional Features in the RNE Pump includes an integral strainer for drainage applications, as well as an essential coupling and shaft guard – which can come free standing or with a sole plate. The components of the wet end of the pump are all exposed to extreme conditions and comprise of the impeller, casing and suction inlet. Depending on the application, these components can be manufactured in a range of materials.

These include:

  • 27% hard chrome iron (standard)
  • 316 Stainless steel
  • Polyurethane
  • Nickel Chrome Alloy
  • HVOF Thermal Spray Coatings
